OUR STORY

It all started with a trip to the local farm store, 5 chicks and a baby bunny later.  Our path to farming has been an adventure to say the least. Believe it or not, our story didn’t even begin on a farm at all.

In 2016, we moved to the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. This is where “our story” began. A beautiful home, fenced backyard, and great neighbors, we had all the comforts we could ask for. We got settled in, took a trip to the local farm store and there they were. The cutest, fluffiest baby chicks ever. My daughter and I fell in love at first sight and that was it “No” was not an answer! We each got a chick and then ya know 2 extra didn’t hurt. Then we walked around “just looking” and all the sudden our daughter lets out a joyful scream “BUNNIES.” Well you know what happened next. We got all the essentials for our 5 chicks and baby bunny and headed home and this is where Our Story began.

We knew then and there we wanted more. More property, bigger house for the 4 of us, plus 2 dogs, 5 chicks, a rabbit and a Horse. We wanted pasture ground, barns, and room to grow nonetheless. We started on our path in late 2016/early 2017 looking for our dream farm to start our adventure on. By midsummer of 2017 we found it in Cowgill, Missouri. A beautiful house with a garage, barns, a lean to, and 10 acres of property with a pond! We moved in late July early August just in time to enroll the kids into their new schools. Country living at its finest, small schools, everyone knows everyone and all's you have to do is ask. Truly peaceful and a place to call Home.

What started as a simple idea for our children ended up becoming the best adventure yet. Our farm started with 2 dogs, 5 chicks, a bunny and a Horse. Then we added our very first Dexter cattle Nugget and Malibu. Nugget is still here living her best life with her 3rd calf and her many of other farm friends. Here it is 2022 and we have grown into more so much more including Mini Highlands, Mini Longhorns, Mini HiParks and we have a Yak! We are also raising Registered Chocolate Heelers, Alpacas, Babydoll Sheep, Lemurs, Kangaroos, Silver Fox and a Sulcata Tortoise.  Our farm continues to grow and we couldn’t have made it possible without the help of our Family, Friends, and customers who became like family ever since. It’s been a wild and exotic ride to say the least and we look forward to this life daily.
